Dr Isabel Moore is a GP originally from Kilkenny and a graduate of the South East GP Training Scheme in 2023. She completed her undergraduate medical degree at University College Dublin and holds a prior BSc in Biomedical Science.

Dr Moore has a strong clinical interest in women’s health, dermatology and palliative care. She has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in these areas, including certificates in dermatology, community gynaecology, palliative care, contraception, long-acting reversible contraception, and menopause management. She is also a CervicalCheck registered smear taker and holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Women’s Health from the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland.

Dr. Brontë Cloete Wakefield, MB BCh BAO, MICGP, Dip Women’s Health, Dip MSK Injury

Dr. Brontë Cloete Wakefield is a compassionate and highly qualified family physician with a special interest in women’s health, musculoskeletal injury, and addiction medicine. She runs a dedicated Well Woman Clinic every Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 4 Fitzwilliam Square East, Dublin 2, offering expert care in contraception, cervical screening, menstrual health, menopause support, and sexual health.

A UCD medical graduate (2017), Dr. Wakefield holds a Diploma in Obstetrics & Women’s Health (2022), a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Injury (2024), and is a Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners (2025). Her clinical experience spans Ireland and Australia, with roles in general practice, emergency medicine, palliative care, and gynaecology.

She currently practices at the Rutland Centre, focusing on addiction medicine, and serves as a tutor at UCD, teaching general practice and professionalism to medical students.

Nurse Anne-Marie Tyrrell inaugurated her tenure at D2 Medical in the month of July 2023, bringing forth an extensive reservoir of experience and expertise. A distinguished alumna of the Mater Hospital, Nurse Tyrrell has dedicated the lion’s share of the preceding 25 years to her vocation at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, with a predominant focus on the oncology services domain.

In her relentless pursuit of knowledge and professional augmentation, Nurse Tyrrell completed a Higher Diploma in Cancer Care in the year 2017. During this epoch, she rendered significant contributions to both inpatient and daycare oncology units, thereby manifesting her unwavering commitment to delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to patients embroiled in the battle against cancer. In the face of the exigencies posed by the COVID pandemic, Nurse Tyrrell adeptly redirected her focus towards Occupational Health, thereby further diversifying and enriching her professional portfolio.

Extending beyond her clinical undertakings, Nurse Tyrrell has distinguished herself in the academic arena, attaining a Higher Diploma in Business Management. In the nascent stages of her career, she judiciously applied her expertise in the capacity of a business and clinical developer within a medical devices company, thereby showcasing her versatility and proficiency that transcend the conventional confines of clinical practice.

Nurse Ruth Talbot joined our clinic four years ago, bringing with her extensive clinical experience. Prior to her appointment, she practised as a senior staff nurse at Beaumont Hospital for ten years. Before this, she was employed at St. Luke’s Hospital for a period of four years.

Nurse Talbot delivers comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to our paediatric population, with responsibility for the administration of the national childhood immunisation schedule in the Republic of Ireland. She is also highly experienced in cervical cytology sampling and participates in the Cervical Check – The National Cervical Screening Programme.

In addition, Nurse Talbot leads a dedicated cervical screening clinic at Fitzwilliam Square on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Shaazia is an experienced Medical Practice Secretary with over seven years in clinical reception and administrative roles, bringing strong organisational and patient-focused skills to D2 Medical. She has a proven track record of managing busy front-desk operations, coordinating appointments, and ensuring efficient daily practice workflows.
Her background includes handling confidential patient records with professionalism and strict adherence to data protection standards. Shaazia is highly skilled in patient communication, providing a welcoming and supportive first point of contact for all visitors to the practice.
She is experienced in scheduling consultations, procedures, and managing multi-channel communications including phone and email.
She has further enhanced her customer service and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments. She is detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrives under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional demeanour. Shaazia is committed to supporting the smooth and efficient operation of D2 Medical while delivering excellent patient care and service.

Sarah Da Silva Milbourne from England is an experienced Medical Practice Secretary at D2 Medical, with a strong background in both public and private healthcare settings. She brings extensive front-desk and administrative expertise, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily practice operations. Sarah previously worked within an NHS outpatient department, managing high patient volumes and coordinating complex appointment schedules. She is highly skilled in handling patient enquiries, triaging referrals, and liaising with GPs and external healthcare providers. Her role includes maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in line with data protection standards. Sarah is experienced in managing multi-channel communications, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
She currently oversees front-of-house operations in a busy clinic, demonstrating strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Her administrative skills include appointment scheduling, billing support, and processing payments with accuracy and efficiency.
Sarah is known for her calm, professional approach and her ability to thrive in fast-paced medical environments.
